Media Spotlight

As President of New York’s largest Garden-Apartment Co-op with 10,000 residents - a mini-city that is a true microcosm of our district - Bob Friedrich has often been cited and quoted in the local media.  He is regarded as a foremost expert on housing cooperatives, and his economic-growth initiatives have been featured in many housing-related publications.

Whether you're a single-family homeowner, a co-op shareholder, or a renter, Bob has been on the frontlines fighting to reduce taxes and regulations and offer more economic choice to individuals throughout our district.   High property taxes, double-digit water rate increases, limited public transportation, taxes disguised as "fees," graffiti-removal, snow-removal, sanitation problems, and getting DOT to install desperately needed 4-way stop signs are some of the many quality-of-life issues he has resolved.   For years, Bob has battled the bureaucracy and arrogance of municipal agencies and offered creative solutions as a community leader.  Now give him the chance to do it as your elected representative!
